General Health

circle

A person doesn’t need to be sick or in pain to benefit from acupuncture.

My patients appreciate how good acupuncture makes them feel — more calm, yet also focused, with better sleep, energy, and resiliency. A problem is what typically brings them into my office, yet even after that issue is alleviated, many choose to continue to receive treatment. Regular monthly acupuncture tune-up treatments help keep all systems clicking along.

Treatment can also involve multiple issues. I have seen my patients through issues surrounding menstruation, conception, pregnancy, and menopause all while treating the various injuries, colds, and health issues that arise along the way. Instead of approaching the body piecemeal, Chinese medicine treats the whole person, aiming to regulate and balance all systems with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I offer my skills as an experienced and Board certified herbalist at no additional charge – it is included in the cost of an acupuncture treatment. (Herbs themselves are additional). Not all of my patients want or need to take herbs. Some take them just when they feel a cold coming on. Others take herbs ongoing for fertility purposes, to moderate menopausal symptoms, or just for general wellness. I support all.

“My mom asked me why I get acupuncture since I’m healthy.

I told her it’s like a car getting a tune-up. Things flow better afterwards. I work better.” — G.K.
